I totally forgot to add a flower! Oh I hate being ill! The leafy design is hand drawn and the small red thingy on the right is some sorta velvety sequined fabric.

I am really sorry for not visiting your blogs. I just don't have the stamina at the moment. But I will stalk each and and every one of you pretty soon! *HUGS*

Here is my card!

The matte silver paper is embossed and the swirls are glittered in a positive/negative technique. The embossed rectangular black flap is also glittered (the raised parts only). I love this card. Looks so much better in real life.

BearyBox Sketch# 22

Hello!

Here I am again with this week’s sketch from BearyBox. BearyBox would like to give this week's winner BearyBox Gift Certificate worth $10.

Sketch#22Here is my card!

Can you recognize the vines and birds? Hmmm? I embossed a plain off-white cardstock using the folder above (cant recall the name), then I started to cut along the edges. When I was finally done cutting I used my water based markers and coloured the vines in small patches in brown and dark brown. The leaves were done in the same manner, I used three shades of green. Then to make it look as if I had water coloured them and to merge the patches, I used my paint brush and some water. TA DA! The water brought out so many more colours. I was surprised to see green and red coming out of brown! After the vines were dry I pasted them on to a distressed off-white flap. Then I used a green layer to pop up the card against the dull tan background. Oh I did some stitching :o) too!

The roses are handmade :o) I added a few glitter dots too.

Baby Blues

Hey peepz!

I made this card for my mum’s colleague. He will be giving this to his sister who is expecting a baby boy real soon. I saw something like this stroller online and decided to make my own version of it. I hope you guys like it.

I tried to make my flower petals to look a lil wriggly. I love the rose in the centre. The light was not so good that is why the right part of the card looks so dark.

As always, the flower is hand drawn. I changed it up a bit including more petals.

Here is my card! It looks better IRL! It’s all blingy and soft looking at the same time. Too bad the pic is not doing justice to this card. :(

Hot Pink

Well, I recently received the embossing folders that I purchased online and I have been trying them like crazy. I had to make a very simple “Thank You” card for someone. Here it is:

 DSC01757

There is nothing special about this card except that I tried to colour the embossed wordings with a silver marker. I think it looks better than just being plain embossed.

A Re-make!

I made this card earlier this month. The first time I made this card it looked a LOT better. But I couldn't take a pic in daylight. I do have one using flash, just didn't have the heart to upload that pic. I made the card again just to show you guys. This is just a different form of THIS card. The colours just changed the entire feel of the card!

BearyBox Sketch# 18

Hello folks! I have not been creating as much as I do because of a severe backache. It is unbearable for me to sit. Even if I try to, I can’t. Hurts bad.

BearyBox Sketch# 17

This week’s sketch is simple. I like this sketch a lot too. I will be using this again and again.

BearyBox would like to give this week's winner Sarah Kay's clear stamp! Do play along!

Here is my take on the sketch. I had to run a ribbon from behind the panels and tie it up in a bow on the right with a sentiment tag. Lost in my own world, I completely forgot about the ribbon and the tag. :o(

My folders are not here yet, I thought I would use Swiss dots on the white panels. I will make this card again when my folders arrive.

Sweet Lil Basket

I hope you like this basket that Mel taught everyone how to make. I love how it turned out. This one is for one of my mum’s colleague who is getting married soon. He wanted to give something to his wife-to-be, something that will leave her speechless! So I thought I’d make one of Mel’s stuff as her stuff leaves me speechless. :o) Love ya Mel! Thanks a ton for the inspiration!

Lucky Baby!

DSC01462

Here is one layout/wall hanging that I made for my mum’s colleague. He and his wife will be giving this to a couple who are expecting their first child. As I didn’t know the sex of the child, I decided to use all the baby colours; yellow, pink, blue, aqua, light purple etc.

DSC01464

DSC01465

The picture is not so good as I had to take it at night, had to use flash :(

I love this. It is too cute. All of the images are hand drawn. I saw them in a SU catalogue. All the duckies have been given a glossy look. Everything else has been glittered using White glitter.

Everything has been raised up a level to give it a 3D look.

The dangling animals at the bottom are kid’s stamps that are from here! Yes! I saw then at my local craft store and without thinking for a second I grabbed them! LOL

And Here is my card! I used two stamps from my Bag-O-Stamps, that Stef sent me. The flower is hand drawn and I outlined it with a white marker and applied white glitter on it. the mini polka dots are also made with a marker.

I especially took a pic in direct sunlight to show you guys how sparkly the card is! Still the pic didn't come out as good as I thought it would.DSC01459
